Coming Fashion exhibitions in 2022 cannot to be missed !

Due to the current situation, we could say that the world of design and culture has been in a slump, especially with exhibitions having to be put on hold.

To lead us to better days, the museums have reopened their doors with some upcoming exhibitions which cannot to be missed !

Fashion culture, retrospectives. We have selected a few events in London and Paris.

  • Amy: Beyond the Stage

This exhibition, open until 10 April 2022 at the Design Museum in London, offers a retrospective of the famous British singer. Between her inimitable voice and her iconic looks, Amy Winehouse marked several generations before her death.

You can discover the outfits she wore during her greatest performances, her teenage notebooks and even her iconic blue Daphne Fender Stratocaster guitar!

  • Thierry Mugler, Couturissime

This is the exhibition of the moment not to be missed if you are in Paris!

This year the Musée des Arts Décoratifs retraces the work of the designer who revolutionized fashion and haute couture. Through photographs, his famous corsets and staging, you will become unaware of Mugler, or the artist with the most singular imagination of the French designers.

You have until April 24, 2022 for a visit of pure wonder.

  • Alice : Curiouser and Curiouser

For fans of fantasy stories, this exhibition is for you!

At the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, until 31 December 2021, you can see this exploration of the origins of the costumes of the famous show Alice in Wonderland. You will be able to discover the evolution of the costumes over 150 years!

There are a lot more exciting events out there. It's important to remember our fashion archives because they inspire us for the years to come, because don't forget: fashion is a closed circuit. Every trend comes back a few years later.
